PROFFESIONAL OVERVIEW Calin Cosmaciuc
Calin Cosmaciuc, 30, is a freelance journalist based in Bucharest, Romania. He was the editor of the <<Special Reports> Department of the <<Evenimentul zilei>> newspaper (www.evz.ro), from 2005 to June 2007. He worked, previously, as a reporter for the Mediafax News Agency (www.mediafax.ro) and “Jurnalul National” newspaper (www.jurnalul.ro).
He won a media award of the Romanian Press Club (www.pressclub.ro) in 2003 for “News Agency” and was a nominee in 2006, for “Investigative Journalism”- together with Daniel Neamu and Andrei Badin.
During his career, Calin Cosmaciuc wrote features, analyses, investigative reports about corruption, intelligence issues, energy issues, foreign policy reports and also war reports from Israel and Sudan. He also worked as a contributor for various international media organizations.
He can cover various issues, from foreign policy and intelligence to social, and from investigative reportings to reportage and analyses. His area includes other countries of Europe.
